Attraction In Dharamshala
Bir Billing is located 30 km from the famous hill town Palampur in Himachal Pradesh in the northern part of India. The town of Bir is now considered the center of Ecotourism, spiritual studies, meditation, and Adventure Tourism. Bir Billing is one of the best adventures in India. Bir Billing is known for Paragliding, Paragliding here is Tandem in which a person can fly with an experienced pilot. Khaniyara is a suburb of Dharamshala town, situated in the foothills of Dhauladhar Mountains, in Kangra district of the state of Himachal Pradesh. The village is located at a difference of almost 10km from the Dharamshala Market and is well known fr the Lord Shiva’s Temple i.e. Aghanjjar Mahadev Temple. The Temple is located at the bank of the river. As it is situated in the mountains thus it also provides some panoramic views that attract most of the tourists to spend some quality time peacefully. In the early 90s, the Khaniyara was well known for gold mining but due to some reasons, the mining needed to stop, and still, the mines are dead.

Dharamkot is a small hill station in Kangra district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. On the crest of a hill above McLeodGanj, Dharamkot is a spot with wide views of the Kangra Valley and the Dhauladhar ranges. It is also the starting point for the Triund trek. The trek starts from the DharamKot and is also the shortest trail to the Triund Trek.
JAWALA JI TEMPLE
One of the oldest known pilgrimage destinations of Northern India, Jawala Ji Temple is around 32km from Kangra. The main flame of this temple keeps burning constantly. It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas found in different corners of South-East Asia. It is believed that the tongue of Goddess Sati fell on this ground.
Pong Dam is also known as Pong Reservoir was created in 1975, by building the highest earth-fill dam in India on the Beas River in the wetland zone of the Siwalik Hills of the Kangra district of the state of Himachal Pradesh. The pong dam is also known as the birdlife sanctuary of Himachal Pradesh. Every year millions of birds from different regions and continents reach this place. As it is the hub for birds, it also comes with some serious issues. Last year in 2021, The Pong Dam authorities rapidly found some serious cases of Bird’s death. INDRU NAG TEMPLE
Indru Nag temple is located at a height that gives a fantastic view of the whole city, Dharamshala. It is at a distance of 5 km from Dharamshala Bus Station. It is accessible by road. But make sure to take your own vehicle as it no longer provides the local bus service. It lies between Kotwali bazaar and Khaniyara Road. The Kotwali Bazaar is almost 3 km from the temple and the Khaniyara village is almost 5 to 8 km from the temple. The place offers a very beautiful view of the whole city that looks very beautiful at night also. The Indru Nag Temple is known for its magical wonders. The pujari and locals perform the puja when there is a need for rain or to avoid the rain.
Masroor Temple or Rock-cut Temple at Masrur is an early 8th-century complex of rock-cut Hindu temples in the Kangra Valley of Beas River in Himachal Pradesh, India. The temples face northeast, towards the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas. They are a variety of the North Indian Nagara building style, devoted to the Hindu gods Shiva, Vishnu, Devi, and Saura, with surviving imagery presumably inspired by a henotheistic framework.
Gopalpur Zoo is situated in Gopalpur village, Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. It is surrounded by the Dhauladhar Range of the Himalayas. The zoo is adorned with maple trees, horse chestnut trees, chili, and greenery. The zoo’s main attractions include Asiatic lions, leopards, Himalayan black bears, sambar deer, barking deer, goral, wild pigs, Bhutan Grey Peacocks, Cheer Pheasant, Red Jungle Fowl peacocks, vultures, eagles, and so on.

Chamunda Devi temple is dedicated to the Goddess Chamunda, one of the forms of the divine mother Durga and one of the seven Matrikas. The temple is known for its natural beauty set against the backdrop of the Dhauladhar Mountains and the beautiful scenery of Himachal Pradesh. The Chamunda Devi Temple has long been a popular tourist destination for visitors to Palampur.
